Dr Louise Merriman MBBS BSc MRCGP DRCOG
Trained at the Middlesex Hospital in London and qualified in 1987
I spent 6 years working as a medical officer in the RAF, worked as a GP in Rotherham and also worked in the day unit at Ashgate hospice in Chesterfield.
I have a special interest in Cancer and Palliative Care and I am the GP clinical lead for cancer for Derbyshire and also for the South Yorkshire Cancer Alliance.
I have worked in Clowne since the inception of the practice in April 2000.
My interests outside of work include cooking, cycling and walking my 2 miniature schnauzers!
MBBS (1999 India), MS (Ortho), DRCOG, DFSRH, MRCGP, PGCME, Dip Sports Medicine (International Olympic Committee).
He qualified as a GP from Chesterfield GP scheme in 2013 and joined the practice in January 2014. He works at the Springs Health centre four days a week (except Monday's).
He has completed the International Olympic Committee course for Sports Physicians and was awarded a diploma in 2017. He works as a locum Sports Physician at a rehabilitation unit at RAF Cranwell on Monday’s.
He is a GMC approved GP trainer and he supervise GP trainees at the Springs Health Centre.

Dr Kate Stonier MBChB (Hons) MRCP MRCGP DRCOG
Graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2008
Completed Core Medical Training and then GP training in South Yorkshire.
I joined the Springs Health Centre in 2017.

Trained at Sheffield Medical School and qualified in 2008.
I joined the practice in May 2020. I am an approved GP trainer and helps supervise trainee GPs.
I have a special interest in women's health and family planning, and am trained in fitting coils and implants.
Dr Lucking is married with 3 children and also keeps chickens, and enjoys baking.
I started my nurse training at the Mansfield and Worksop school of nursing in 1989, I was part of the last of the traditional training programmes, based at BDGH.
I have spent most of my 30year career in general practice as a practice nurse, taking up the role of CM in 2010
I am passionate to ensure those with long term conditions/cancer or frailty of older age receive a high standard of co-ordinated care in a setting which best serves their needs at that time.
I am based within and directly emplyed by the GP practice to ensure easy and timely access to support.
I worked in the elderly mentally ill wards at Walton for 1992 to 1999 as an health care assistant.

Between 2003 – 2018 I worked as a Community Nurse with the District Nursing Team
before joining The Springs Health Centre in 2018 as a Community Matron.

Diabetic Specialist Nurse
I trained and qualified as a registered nurse in Sheffield in 1987. As a community nurse I always had a keen interest in diabetes and decided to pursue my passion by obtaining my diabetes diploma. For the last 13 years I have worked within diabetes nursing and in 2013 qualified as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse.
