Angela Lea

Community Matron

I started my nurse training at the Mansfield and Worksop school of nursing in 1989, I was part of  the last of the traditional training programmes, based at BDGH.

I have spent most of my 30year career in general practice as a practice nurse, taking up the role of CM in 2010

I am passionate to ensure those with long term conditions/cancer or frailty of older age receive a high standard of co-ordinated care in a setting which best serves their needs at that time.

I am based within and directly emplyed by the GP practice to ensure easy and timely access to support.
